From the very first meeting this year at Brienne and Adams' wedding getting to know Marissa and James has been a wonderful part of our job. The engagement session was very windy and cold but this happy couple were so in love that the weather didn't even seem to touch them. Their wedding day was such a good blend of tradition and casual, light fun. I also really enjoyed the mix of accents. That's right, I said accents. The families came from all over the world but primarily from Scotland and Peru. Despite the distance it was very clear to Bryan and I how very close James' family is. Marissa was an absolutely gorgeous bride but that wasn't surprising since she is a beautiful human as well. Her brother was the officiant and he put together a beautiful and funny ceremony at Old Mill Park. The reception was held at The Mill Valley Community Center where the guests were able to eat wonderful food and dance late into the night.

One of our absolute favorite events all year is hands down the Holi celebration held at Bishop Ranch. It is free to the public and is such a joyful celebration that I highly suggest you go next year to ring in Spring. We really love working for Bishop Ranch in San Ramon. They put on so many wonderful events that are free to the public. Everything about this day was wonderfully vibrant. We can't wait to see them again next year.
I got to meet Brittany and Martin about a month ago when I photographed their wedding ceremony at City Hall. I was immediately drawn in by their sense of fun and their dynamic is wonderful to see. This is the follow up reception at Haas Lilienthal House in San Francisco. I love photographing at this venue. It is always great to photograph in this lovely venue. The decorations were all done by the beautiful bride. It was a very fun night with love, friendship and donuts for all.
Congratulations to Brittany and Martin! It has been such a pleasure to work with them and we wish them many happy years together.
Greetings! We hope that you have been having a wonderful Spring. It's been so much fun to meet all of the new couples getting married, businesses and reconnecting with other families with new additions. I met this family a few years ago for their maternity session. They are such a wonderfully striking trio. It was a wonderful experience to see them again. Their son was so cute and so active for this session. I am fairly certain that he slept well that night. Below are some of my favorites.
Happy Spring! We are so looking forward to Brittany and Martin's wedding party later this season but first they decided to get married at San Francisco City Hall with their adorable son and best friend there in support. Now, I love City Hall. I love going there and knowing that not only is the political machinery of San Francisco running but also there is usually a really interesting art show, at least one yoga or zumba class, a bevy of schools and classes coming through and sometimes a beautiful event all at the same time. The wedding ceremonies at City Hall during the week are very sweet. One of the clerks once told me that they fight over who the honor of who gets to conduct the ceremonies and I have to say that they always have huge smiles and bring good energy to each ceremony.
Brittany and Martin were glowing with love for one another. When I met them I noticed their bright and sincere smiles as well as their obvious deep connection with each other. They were wonderfully work with. I guess Incandescent happiness makes my job a lot easier. Congratulations to them. I can't wait to see what the wedding will be like.
